Joe and Jmac talked way too much football for guys who don't really know a lot about football, but there was too much that went down during Thanksgiving week to not talk about football even if it is true that you don't know much about football.

We're running a bit behind this week, but no matter. We did some Michael Bolton impressions, revisited the Joe VanHoose Bluegrass Experience (which, apparently, was a thing) and talked about bringing Bill Belichick home to meet your dad.

Joe has thoughts on Dubai Chocolate, though he can't actually eat it due to his lethal nut allergy. Still, the guys break down food trends on the way out in 2026, Joe's trip to Chicago and Jmac's idea to reposition the town's branding to "The Wendy's City."

Neither Joe or Jmac anticipated devoting 20 minutes to discussing French Dip sandwiches, but here we are. Plus, how soon is too soon to decorate for Christmas.

We didn't plan to take off a week, but it's all good now. Plus, we have story time from both Jmac and Joe with the former talking about his inability to use Amazon Prime Video properly and the latter regaling us with the shower situation in an RV.

Well, y'all, this is a weird one. Jmac relishes in Georgia's win over Auburn, as well as a little thing called karma. Joe shares a completely unhinged story around the origin of Baskin Robbins. And they both dive into the discography of Meatloaf. So, you know, buckle up everyone.

Jmac and Joe have, apparently, watched lots of bad, short-lived TV without every knowing it. Also, Joe is intrigued by the Steak Nuggets at Arby's, while Jmac wrestles with what restaurants he'd like to buy. Plus, football. Sure, football.

Have we missed anything the past two weeks? It's been a hectic past few weeks for Joe and Jmac between home inspections, Flu A infections and a myriad of notes for podcast topics that there is zero shared memory of. Dog Law? Bad meals in Sheybogan? What does it all mean ... might as well find out. 

Listener, we covered a lot of ground here. Jmac breaks down some seasonal fast food items (spoiler, lots of pumpkin), which prompts Joe to contrast the old Checker's with the new Caribou Coffee and ultimately leads to us extending an invitation to Bobby Flay to join our podcast. We also don't feel good about any of our picks this week.

Joe took his first trip to Helen, Jmac wonders what happened to Nic Cage and the fellas openly seek corporate sponsorship so they can do the podcast live this season from a Tulane game.
